A recently opened French restaurant at the former site of the failed Cy Provencal Restaurant, Noble Rot lends itself equally well to business dinners as it does to romantic tete-a-tetes. From the outside, it looks small and intimate, but inside, tables are spaced out of ear-shot from others. In the evening, lighting is dimmed and the decor gives a definite hint of the Orient. Do try the downstairs members club - as a restaurant-visitor, you can finish your after-dinner cognacs in a Momo-esque style bar. The French-leaning menu features predictable but wonderful choices, like Smoked Salmon, and Scallops with Pea Puree, and for those working in the area, this place is perfect to enjoy good food in relaxing surroundings.
