You've never experienced Turkish food like this - but then again, most of the emphasis at this Islington restaurant is on the decor and service. (Don't confuse this restaurant with Mogens Tholstrup's South Kensington Moroccan restaurant Pasha - they have nothing to do with each other.) The spacious dining room is a welcome break from the much maligned Middle-Eastern restaurants and over-the-top Ali Baba interiors of London's trendy North African restaurants. Although meze is usually the way to start, don't. They're rather sad looking and generic. Instead opt for the specials or dive right into the main courses, including a juicy Swordfish Marinated in Herbs and Lime or Biber Dolma: stuffed roast peppers.
