Unattractive 1960s exterior notwithstanding, the Peacock Theatre is an excellent venue for dance and music, hosting events from ballet to The Snowman. There's been a theatre on this site since the seventeenth century, with this incarnation owned (and often used) by the London School of Economics by day and Sadler's Wells West End by night.
