The South Bank Centre is a favourite venue of music lovers. A host to world class performers in the fields of dance, music and literature, the venue is also home to several leading orchestras of the country. The 372-seater Purcell Room, which was opened in 1967, is one of South Bank's four halls. It is designed to support chamber music, cabaret and more. Parking is available at Hayward Gallery and on Hungerford Bridge.
