Ready to indulge in a spot of ironic 80s disco? Yes? Then welcome to Renegade Pop Party, 333's monthly session of tongue-in-cheek retro music. A pot-shot at the superstar DJ phenomenon of bigger clubs, Renegade Pop Party plays host to such radio legends as David "Kid" Jensen and Pat Sharp, as well as icons of the era like Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Paul Rutherford. To be taken with a pinch of salt rather than a spoonful of sugar, it aims to be a fun and frivolous antidote to the bane of super clubbing and, judging by its obvious popularity, it's working.
