The Royal Garden Hotel, on the corner of busy High Street Kensington, is just minutes away from Kensington Palace, with many of the rooms having lovely views over Kensington Gardens. This hotel has the distinction of being the only five-star hotel in Kensington just about every facility you could want is available, from limousine hire to babysitting. It's also very near the Royal Albert Hall, making it ideal for a lavish pre-concert meal in one of the two restaurants that the hotel has to offer. The Tenth is a relatively formal French restaurant which boasts magnificent views over Hyde Park, but for a more relaxed meal head to the Park Terrace (Oriental food), or grab a drink in Bertie's Bar. You could even go and take your chances at the casino next door.
