This is a small, slightly narrow restaurant but it is bright and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows. It is well-known and highly rated by the trendy Fulham and Chelsea locals who come here after a hard day's work or shopping. Sit back and enjoy your favourite Indian dishes and imported beer. Regional cooking is excellently covered by the chefs at Saffron, and is often lighter and more pleasant than you might expect at other Indian restaurants. Try favourites such as chicken xacutti (Goan chicken with coconut and tamarind) and the vegetarian aloo dum (a dish of potatoes and dried fruit traditionally served at weddings), and see for yourself.
