Chinese Elvis? |
457 Fulham Road London, London SW10 9UZ +44 20 7598 0929 |
The king is alive! Yes, Elvis entertains at this unlikely location each Friday and Saturday evening... Definitely hysterical after a few beers and dim sums! Bright pastels, tiled flooring and light wooden furniture provide the interesting backdrop to this Chinese restaurant. But people don't really come for the decor - it's Johnny 'Elvis' Lo's renditions from the King that the punters come to listen to... Do go and try it for yourselves (indeed, try it literally - there's a karaoke session too) - but take my advice and have a glass or 10 of a strong brew before sampling the delights of Mr Lo! The cuisine is described as Peking/Szechuan and comes in many shapes and forms from light dishes to the full-blown (and expensive) lobster and seafood menu. Review © 2009, Wcities |
