Formed by an American art dealer and his European textile designer wife, the Estorick collection is Britain's only gallery devoted entirely to modern Italian art and is internationally recognized for its core collection of futurist works. The Estorick also offers a diverse array of temporary exhibitions and educational opportunities. Workshops for children and adults are designed around temporary exhibition themes, while Italian language classes are held in the galleries themselves! Containing six galleries, an art library, bookshop, and Italian garden café, the Estorick is a must see for tourists and London natives alike. Check their website for further information. Admission is GBP3.50 adults, free to school children and students with a valid NUS card.

Finsbury Park

Spread out over 112 acres in North London, Finsbury Park was one of the first parks established during the Victorian era. Several sports facilities operate in the park, including baseball diamonds and an athletics stadium. For more nature-minded visitors, the park also has an arboretum with numerous unusual plants and trees. Finsbury Park is also often used to host large public events such as festivals and carnivals.

This venue is a fun zone for the kids. What's the attraction—puppetry! Located north of Islington, the theatre features shows by local as well as visiting artists. There are string puppets, glove puppets, rod puppets and more to entertain the children. Some performances are limited to specific age groups. While here, do check out the workshop to get a glimpse into the life of puppets. A coffee shop is also on site. So what are you waiting for? Come by with your kids to see puppetry in all its forms and you are bound to enjoy as much as them!

Thanks to modern technology now Londoners and tourists alike can experience the diversity of the wetlands of which only a few places in the world have the ability to offer. Despite it not being an actual, natural occurring wetlands, you will still see a huge amount of wildlife from rare birds and fish, as well as learning about the smaller creatures in the marsh which help keep this delicate ecosystem together. Originally used as an old Victorian Reservoir, the space covers over 40 hectares and offers several activities from an introduction to bird watching as well as a wildlife walk. Members and London Pass holders have free admission.
