Of the American big-bar ilk, Sports Cafe is a sport lover's heaven. Combining four bars, a restaurant, and dance floor, this Piccadilly playpen is for the big boys, with table football, video games and pool tables. Gimmicky overkill or painstaking pride are the makings of this sporting theme bar: a racing motorbike hangs mid stunt-jump over the dance floor, baseball bat braces double as door handles, staff are kitted out in cheerleader garb, and clichéd sporting memorabilia adorns the walls and trophy cabinets. And if that's not enough, the menu is a sporting pun extravaganza, hitting you with the likes of Power Play Satay, Pole Position Chilli and a tasty line-up of Premiership Pizzas, with Warm Ups and Extra Time substituting starters and desserts. Gargantuan television screens broadcast the major sports events, and in the dining area, booth-style seating comes complete with individual TV screens, making it a great venue to watch the action in the Premiership.
