St. Michael Paternoster Royal

Rebuild, Restore, Reuse
College Hill
(at College St)
London EC4R 2RL
+44 20 7248 5202
Rebuilt and Restored twice, after the Great Fire of London and WWII, this historic monument is part of the city's rich and diverse history. In 1966 the St. Michael Paternoster Royal became the headquarters of the Missions to Seamen, an Anglican society that attends to the needs of chaplains in ports around the world. The chapel contains 3 stained-glass windows designed by John Hayward. The main window illustrates the defeat of a winged Satan by St Michael. A living artifact worthy of a visit.
