Whether after some South African Isicathymia or some Nigerian Yoruba, African music lovers will be hard-pressed to find a better source for than Stern's African Record Centre. The shop, which is tucked just behind Euston station, boasts an extremely impressive collection of African and Latin American tunes. Big names like Ladysmith Black Mambazo are stocked alongside lesser-known and regional artists, like the Durban All Stars and The Manhattan Skylarks. If you have a specific artist in mind, don't bother scouring the world music shelves of the big music chain stores, come here first.
