This is a temple to all that is luxurious, beautiful and trendy. It was designed by Phillipe Starck, who also designed the Paramount in New York and who is famous for his inventive and humorously modern and minimalist interiors. There is no name at the entrance, but through the large glass windows you can catch a glimpse of the spacious lobby. You could try booking a table at the Asia de Cuba restaurant, 24-hour brasserie Saint M, and the Rum Bar. This hotel is big on glamour and is the antithesis of that other temple of cool, The Metropolitan. Practically speaking St Martin's, location between Covent Garden and Leicester Square, could not be better. Review © 2009, Wcities |
