The Theatre opened in 1884 has a Victorian era auditorium that can seat about 460 people. It shows plays created and produced by the Theatre. There are also hospitality, rehearsal, workshop and meeting room facilities. Through their Musical Theatre Initiative artists are introduced to Musical Theatre craft. New programmes and workshops are organised to evolve the new musicals, which reflect the diverse culture of London. The Theatre also conducts writing workshops and has trained around 14 artists.
