The annual V Festival started in 1996 and is held simultaneously in two locations, Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Stafford. The festival is a weekend long rock concert that traditionally takes place at the end of August. Past performers include Dido, Coldplay, and the Killers.
