Within the stunning Ranger's House on the border of Greenwich Park, the Wernher Collection is comprised of an assortment of exceptional pieces of art from the medieval and Renaissance periods. Avid art collector and diamond magnate Sir Julius Wernher purchased all of the artwork during the 19th and 20th Centuries. The collection is comprised of over 700 pieces, and includes a variety of exquisite paintings, ceramics, jewelry, ivory, and more. The Ranger's House itself is worth the trip to this lovely area of Greenwich. With grounds divided by the Meridian Line, the house was once the official home of the Ranger of Greenwich Park and also one of the many royal residences. Admission is £5.50 for adults and £2.80 for children.
