Riding is usually associated with the quaint countryside or toffs. Here, the emphasis is on instruction of basic riding skills to the underprivileged and disabled with the goal of passing exams. Hacks across Wormwood Scrubs Park are open to the public, but there is usually a long waiting list. Because this is a non-profit making charity, rates here are only £6.50 per half-hour class.
