Babalu has a refreshingly eclectic menu and a relaxed atmosphere. The American, Asian and Caribbean dishes are favorites among those in the know in Santa Monica. The restaurant has a Mediterranean feel with a brightly-colored decor and outside seating under colorful umbrellas. The menu is known to be extra-spicy and extra-delicious. It includes pasta, seafood, chicken and more with Asian, Caribbean and American influences. One favorite menu item is the Blue Corn Crab Cakes.
