Officially known as the Grand Avenue Pier, this venue has a more colorful name given by its citizens: the Devil's Gate Pier, thanks to a suitably-shaped geological formation in the area. The wooden structure is impressive to look at, and the vicinity, with its shops, snack carts and activities, makes for a great day out. Try your hand at fishing, boating, cycling, kayaking and rollerblading, or avail of one of the exciting rides and catamaran cruises. If you just want to lie in the sun, beach umbrellas and cabanas are available on hire. Whatever be your course of action—or inaction—this is the place to get that tan! And keep your camera handy!
