This museum is located in the Canoga Park Community Center, which used to be one of Canoga Parks oldest fire stations. It houses items documenting the history of the San Fernando Valley, from photographs to documents and paintings. The focus of the museum is on the old railroad stop called Owensmouth, which is today the city of Canoga Park. There is a lot to see and learn here, including the history of the Valley and Canoga Park. Admission is free. The museum is open on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 2p-4p. Tours can be arranged specially if required. Review © 2009, Wcities |
