In a city known for flash, this bookstore is a breath of fresh air. Not literally; when you enter, you might be shocked that the fire department hasn't closed it down. Located in the heart of Hollywood (arguably the flash capital of the entire planet), it stocks books, CDs, records and prints in any place the staff can fit them. With paperbacks as low as a dollar each and CDs going for three dollars each, this feels like more of a yard sale than the hip, Hollywood bookstore it is. Review © 2009, Wcities |
