Largest utility company |
111 North Hope Street Los Angeles, CA 90012 |
Located west of the Music Center, this building was designed by AC Martin Powers in 1964 and is made of glass and steel. It is a striking stack of horizontal rows. At night it looks great lit up against the sky. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power is the largest utility company in the United States. While the building is not open to the public for tours, it is still a landmark that visitors to the city can appreciate. Review © 2009, Wcities |
