Garry Marshall's theater |
4252 Riverside Drive Los Angeles, CA 91505 +1 818 955 8101 http://www.falcontheatre.com |
This charming 99-seat theater was opened in 1997 by Hollywood icon Garry Marshall, best known for directing 'Happy Days,' 'Laverne & Shirley,' 'Mork and Mindy' and the wildly popular film 'Pretty Woman'. Marshall named it the Falcon after the team of his alma mater, Northwestern University. Marshall's dream is to bring together the Hollywood and theater worlds by putting on entertaining shows for kids and adults. This venue also holds workshops and advanced acting classes. In recent seasons, Jack Klugman played Willie Loman in 'Death of a Salesman,' Morgan Fairchild and Crystal Bernard were featured in 'Crimes of the Heart,' and the zany antics of the Troubadour Theatre Company had adults and kids rolling in the aisles for 'Twelfth Dog Night,' a free-wheeling re-telling of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night.'
