With more than 1,400 individual musical instruments, this is one of the most impressive collections of its kind in the world. Originating primarily from America, Europe and Asia, the instruments here date back to the 17th century. The collection is organized into five major categories: brass instruments, woodwind instruments, keyboard instruments, stringed instruments and the ethnic collection. Many of these instruments were crafted by the finest instrument makers of their time. Admission is free, tours by appointment only, so call ahead. Tours by appointment only.
