Fox Plaza was designed in 1987 by Johnson, Fain, & Pereira Associates, but it is better known as "Nakatomi Tower", the architectural star of the movie Die Hard. Despite the fictional terrorist attack it weathered in the movie, it was deemed secure enough to house Ronald Reagan's offices when he returned to private life. Faceted like a crystal, allowing light to reflect off its surface, it was a scenic addition to Century City's skyline when it was finished. Review © 2009, Wcities |
