A division of the Civic Light Opera of the South Bay Cities, the Hermosa Beach Playhouse is renowned for its intimate setting. Created to offer greater public access to theatrical programs in L.A., the beautiful theatre presents both plays and musicals. Featured on KABC Channel 7 "Eye on LA", the Hermosa Beach Playhouse has been praised for performances such as Ethel Merman's Broadway, The Wonder Bread Years, Educating Rita and Around the World in a Bad Mood.
