Annual Holiday Procession |
Hollywood Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90028 +1 323 469 2337 http://www.hollywoodchamber.net/ |
The Hollywood Christmas Parade is produced and staffed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Since its launch in 1929, the event has become a time honored holiday tradition in Hollywood, taking place the Sunday after Thanksgiving and billed the largest celebrity parade in the world. The route of the parade begins in front of the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theater, passing in front of Hollywood & Highland, the Kodak Theatre, the historic Roosevelt Hotel, the Pantages Theater and other Hollywood landmarks located along the two-mile parade route. The Parade is open to the public and free of charge. It is recommended that audiences arrive to see the parade by 3p for the 5p start. Audiences may view the parade as it travels from Grauman's Chinese Theater, east along Hollywood Boulevard, turning south on Vine Street, then west down Sunset Boulevard. Review © 2009, Wcities |
