The West coast branch of the landmark Chicago group, Improv Olympic features whip smart long form improvisational comedy inspired by audience suggestions. Those taking in a show on weekend nights can often expect to see familiar TV and film faces sharpening their skills onstage. The bar out front provides a perfect casual meeting spot and waitresses keep your drinks full during the show. Performances range from $5 to $10, though Wednesday nights are free, and tickets are often good for multiple shows that evening. Check out their website for show schedules and time.
