This Holiday production at the Pasadena Playhouse is a trip back in time to those pre-TV, pre-Internet days of live radio. Feeling as if in the Lux Radio Theatre itself, the audience sees first-hand a recreation of the legendary movie, "It's A Wonderful Life," performed by a different celebrity cast each week. Actors featured throughout the month-long run include Michael Richards, Sara Rue, Hal Linden, Joe Mantegna, Fred Willard and more. The 70-minute production moves at a much faster pace than the movie, without losing any major elements of the story. Constant action on the stage and the authentic radio show-feel keeps both kids and adults interested and inspired. This show really is a wonderful life with a wonderful cast. Directed by Stuart Ross.
