Surprised? No, the NFL is not returning to Los Angeles, (the Staples center is not THAT versatile) but Arena Football is here in L.A. Described as a "50 yard indoor war," the players serve on both offense AND defense and there is no punting. It is not actually the "real thing," but it promises to be an interesting sport to watch anyway; games are played from late spring to mid-summer.
