The Italian-Spanish influence is evident everywhere at this hotel. The hand-painted frescos, the bas-relief décor, the fountains, the polished wood floors, the ornate ceilings and the abundant flowers all contribute to class and elegance that is practically beyond words. A favorite since 1923, and a member of Historic Hotels of America, this famed hotel, once called the Regal Biltmore, hosted the Academy Awards during the 1930s and 1940s.
