This charming cottage, set amid the car dealers and small office buildings just north of Universal Studios, is truly a hidden gem. Enter the front door and find yourself in the south of France. The French Onion Soup is covered with gooey cheese and is wonderful. Order a plate of escargots receive six buttery little treasures. The steak, fish and chicken are all top-notch.
