6003 Pioneer Boulevard Corner of Pioneer and Whittier boulevards Los Angeles, CA 90606 +1 562 695 1217 |
This park is named after Pio de Jesus Pico, the last governor of Mexican California. On the property rests Pico's adobe mansion, damaged in the 1987 Whittier earthquake. It does not feature any exhibits because the building is no longer safe for visitors, but it remains one of the oldest adobe structures in Southern California. This is a nice place for a picnic or a quiet day in the park. Review © 2009, Wcities |
