This is one of the few galleries in Southern California with a history. Emmanuel Poulsen and his soon-to-be wife Gamelia Haddad founded this business in 1927 and have attracted local artists to display their works ever since. Emmanuel and Gamelia went on to gather a number of notable works abroad from both Asian and European countries, expanding the scope of the gallery to an international level. Today, many of the artists that once frequented the gallery are still represented here. Several of them are now recognized as among the finest California artists of the first half of the 20th century.
