The Civic Light Opera of the South Bay Cities (which is the largest producing light opera group in Southern California), the Distinguished Speakers Series and a wide variety of major concert performers regularly appear in this venue. Originally built by the community to serve as the auditorium for Aviation High School back between 1971-1982, local residents decided to try to keep the facility open after that school closed. Voters chose to completely renovate the structure back in 1998. Ticket prices vary widely depending on the events scheduled.
