During the winter months, the Southern California coast is a great place to see the migrating Pacific Gray Whales. This sportfishing company offers two daily excursions from its landing in Redondo Beach, which can often be a welcome alternative to the chaos of larger ports like San Pedro or Long Beach. During the prime viewing periods, you have a very good chance of seeing whales, but even if you don't, you get an inexpensive cruise with sights of dolphins, seals, sea lions and sea birds. During the off-season, you can also sign up for exciting sportfishing excursions out on the open sea. Whale-watching Admission: $1w2 weekdays, $14 adults and $10 children.
