Certainly the most fragrant of LA's wholesale markets is this colorful exhibition catering to flower merchants from all over Southern California. In order to fully experience the remarkable selection you have to be a merchant or know one and arrive at about 2a. However, there are still plenty of flowers and potted plants available at rock bottom prices when the market opens to the public at 8a. The market, which has been in business since 1923, spans two warehouses with more than 100 stalls of vendors. Credit cards are often accepted, but they vary by vendor.
