The South West Museum is the country's foremost center to come and see the history and art of the American Indian, stemming from Alaska to South America. The exhibitions display art and installations, such as teepees and traditional costumes. You can even get cultural information regarding the American Indian and there are a host of Hispanic, Latino and Spanish artifacts. The main focus is on the indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica and the West of America. The museum also has an annual Navajo Rug auction, which is worth checking out.
