Just when you thought the Sunset Strip didn't have enough aggressively hip hotels, this place enters and redefines the fray. A former convalescent hotel, this building underwent major plastic surgery and emerged with curvy balconies and upside-down signage. Distinguishing it from the crowd are its on-site tattoo parlor and late checkout times, just what the rock 'n' roll crowd ordered. A coffee shop and restaurant are onsite and offer baby blue tables along with a memorable preparations of steaks, seafood and salads.
