A preserve for film and television of every genre, the archive has nearly a quarter of a million programs which are accessible to the public. Most of the screenings are presented at the James Bridges Theater in the form of film festivals focusing on the work of a director, actor, genre or time period. Some recent topics have included Marcello Mastroianni, Dariush Mehrjui, James Whale, Desert Island Movies and 1968.

Admission: Access to the Research and Study Center must be arranged in person or on the phone, and is primarily reserved for those working on specific research projects. Screening tickets range from $5-$7; sometimes more for special events. Credit cards are not accepted.
