Designed in 1946 by Frank Lloyd Wright's son, Lloyd Wright, and featured in a number of films, this glass and stone structure hosts hundreds of weddings every year. Dubbed the "glass church," it was built as a memorial to Emanuel Swedenborg, an 18th century theologian. Surrounded by redwoods and three and a half acres of gardens, the chapel overlooks the Pacific on one of the most scenic bluffs in Southern California, the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Admission is free.
