ASVEL is a professional basketball club that started in 1948 and has since won 15 championships and 7 'coupes de France,' which makes it the club with the most titles in France. The club managed to overcome financial difficulties in 1992, and has risen to the top of the European Basketball League. ASVEL has had a 5,400 seat arena built (called the Astroballe). Full price is 3.50 euros per person, reduced price is 2 euros per person, and everyone received the reduced fare on Sunday mornings. Children under 7 skate for free. This huge tennis club, a short walk away from the Doua university campus, has 25 courts at the disposal of every tennis fan, fifteen of which are outdoor ones. If you're not happy with your level of tennis, then hire a private court change sports.
