As its name suggests, Mur Mur (Wall Wall) is entirely dedicated to climbing. For those who are used to relaxing and enjoying a change of scenery as they scale cliff faces, this 250 square metre artificial wall (with more than 200 routes to climb) is well-known because it is not always possible to get to real rock faces. Mur Mur is open all year round for children and adults alike (children must be accompanied by an adult) and it also offers initiation afternoons for children. A large rink in Presqu'ile with skating charged to the individual or by the group. Full price is 3.50 euros per person, reduced price is 2 euros per person, and everyone received the reduced fare on Sunday mornings. Children under 7 skate for free. Hours are extended during school holidays; see website for details. Also hosts hockey matches some evenings, national and international skating competitions, and ice-skating performances. Quai des Ludes is an association which dates back to 1901, and is dedicated entirely to children and to games. The ludothèque (games centre) offers, invents and tests more than 200 games that can either be played there and then, or even rented. Some of these games have been adapted for handicapped children. Quai des Ludes is no ordinary ludothèque: it offers all kinds of advice on games and toys, it welcomes mothers and babies for certain events ("Mother and baby afternoons") and organises birthday parties (including use of the games, a function room and a well-equipped kitchen).
