A well-known restaurant on Madrid's culinary scene offering a menu that combines classic French haute cuisine with creative ideas from the Basque Country. For starters, try the lobster and vegetable salad. House specialities include various preparations of duck and fillet of turbot. Other substantial dishes, such as veal a la Zuberoa, Club Ranero cod or red mullet are available. Their citrus fruit pastries with banana ice-cream is an ideal dessert. The wine list has an excellent selection of Spanish varieties to choose from. You're in pleasant and elegant surroundings with plush upholstery and carpeting, and the walls are decorated with fine paintings of northern landscapes by respected artists.
