The place does everything to remind you of the Middle East, with brass and wood work, woollen rugs, palms, and white walls. The menu lists the usual suspects—hummus, falafel, stewed lamb, raita, and dry fruit laden dishes—all done to perfection. Weekends are often crowded, so reserve beforehand.

You can have them stuffed with meat or pulses and covered with sauces. You can also choose from a menu featuring lamb kebabs, shawarma, babaganush (aubergine puree) and humus along with a great selection of tasty desserts, like baklava (filo pastry stuffed with honey and pistachio nuts). It serves wine, draught beer and tea.
