Camille Albane

Specializing in hair coloring
Príncipe de Vergara, 89
Madrid 28006
Spain
+34 91 4113055
Though this shop offers facials and body treatments, Camille Albane specializes primarily in hair care, from the ends down to the roots. They are experts in hair coloring (dye jobs, de-coloring, highlights, etc.), but you can also try out their shiatsu hair massage and clay treatments for hair and scalp. They will also do lymphatic cleansing, make-overs, manicures and Chinese pedicures (so-called because it ends with a foot reflexology massage).

Generally traditional cuts
Toledo, 135
Madrid 28005
Spain
+34 91 4748707
This is the place for gentlemen who favour a classically styled haircut, though other cuts are available, as are beard and moustache trimmings and hairstyling. The shop is decked up like a traditional barber's, with old barbershop chairs and mirrors all around the white walls. It caters to all ages, including children and pensioners and everyone in between. Although the shop has only been open only since a few years, the professionals working here have years more experience.

This salon not only cuts men's hair but also does pedicures, manicures, scalp treatments, facials and more, and also has a tanning bed. It caters exclusively to men. The modern decor, featuring grey tones and an aluminum ceiling with halogen lighting, sets the perfect mood for a new look. They will give you a nice traditional cut if you insist, but try one of their fanciful color jobs. They will also trim your beard.

Moderna

Male grooming
Alcalá, 121
Madrid 28009
Spain
+34 91 4353749
In spite of its name, this is a traditional barber and hair salon for men, where they will shave your bushy beard to leave your skin smooth and silky. This shop has been open since 1909, which says something about their expertise. They cut hair the old-fashioned way, with scissors and razors. You can even try out the age-old, tried and true remedy to avoid hair loss, burning the ends off. The decor is equally classic, with tiled walls. They have another branch at Ortega y Gasset, 61 (+34 91 401 5769).
