Madrid's musical theatre venue par excellence, this is where you'll see the most spectacular productions of shows like Les Miserables, Chicago and Jekyll & Hyde. It also stages comedies and dance. It stands on the same site as the original Teatro Apolo, which lasted from 1873 until 1929 showing a mixture of drama and zarzuela (Spanish opera).
