Stylish and chic designer names |
54 Beech Road Chorlton Manchester M21 9EG United Kingdom |
Initially trading in ladies fashions only, McQueen now sell a selection of extremely stylish menswear and some rather funky shoes from their low-key shop on the ever-popular Beech Road in Chorlton. Step inside and enjoy the warm, casual ambience created by the rich orange lighting and clever displays. A staunchly British designer clothes shop for the serious style guru, if you choose to shop here, it's important to make sure you have the budget to match. McQueen's deal in various pricey, independent fashion labels that would be difficult to find anywhere else in Manchester including, most notably - and perhaps appropriately - designs by Alexander McQueen. Where Oasis used to shop |
177 Fog Lane Didsbury Manchester M20 6FJ United Kingdom +44 161 445 8697 |
This predominantly second-hand record, tape and CD store is a great place to search out those old vinyl albums. It is still possible to come across some bargain collector's items among their stock if you call in regularly enough. If you want to buy new instead, there are always plenty of chart and popular CDs available. The shop was apparently a haunt of the Gallagher brothers - mum still lives down the road - and is even mentioned in an early Oasis song.
