Otherwise known as Diver Dan's Specialty Charters, this company is known for its consistent catches. It holds several records for largest and most fish caught, including the record for the largest Ahi-a whopping 220-pound monster. Diver Dan and his crew and passengers go after the big fish: mahi-mahi, ahi, shark and the king of them all, the marlin. Only six passengers go out on the boat, and all of them are ensured plenty of time and space to reel in a prize. Equipment and bait are provided, and no license is required. Call for reservations and pricing information.

Let master fisherman David Bloch lead you to the best shoreline fishing spots on Maui. Several hundred species of fish live in the coastal waters, the trophy catch being the Ulua. These fish reach weights of 30-80 pounds. The world's record shoreline catch, a 563-pound sea bass, took place in Maui. Customers can book a full-day fishing trip, an overnight camping/fishing trip or, in the case of a small group, a charter excursion. David provides the gear, bait and food (in case the fish are not biting). Call for more information.
