This fusion of bakery, cafe and restaurant excels in all categories. The wooden tables and showbiz posters make Babka's typically Brunswick Street, but distinguished by a relaxed, un-contrived style. Staff are charming and accommodating. People queue quite happily for hours to secure the excellent breads and pastries. For a something different, try spicy Georgian baked beans, delicate blintzes or sweetcorn fritters. The gourmet sandwiches, pies or the superb salad niçoise make a good lunch.
